GAGC Stands with Planned Parenthood

The U.S. House of Representatives has voted to bar Planned Parenthood health centers from all federal funding for birth control, cancer screenings, HIV testing, and other lifesaving care for the rest of the fiscal 2011 year.

This is not about abortion: federal Title X funding does not fund abortion.

This is about cutting funding for essential, life-saving medical care for low-income women (and men and children), including cancer and HIV testing.
