With the announcement from Pitchfork that Broadcast will be going on tour (with Atlas Sound) AND releasing a new EP in the fall, I felt compelled to celebrate and post one of my favorite tracks. Trish Keenan has one of the most enchanting voices in music history–a lofty statement, but listen to this song and you’ll see what I mean. “Unchanging Window/Chord Simple” also has what’s got to be my favorite instrumental breakdown ever (the “Chord Simple” part of the song).

Wow, I just realized this post is chock-full of superlatives, but every bit worthy of the accolade.
